Equal Pay Day marks the point in the year at which women's earnings will finally match what men made the previous year.
Â
To raise awareness about the fact that women in the U.S., on average, earn 20% less than their male counterparts, Lean In DC is supporting dozens of area businesses who are participating in #20PercentCounts and donating 20% of their proceeds on April 10th to organizations that support women and families impacted by the gender pay gap.
